My name is Peggy.

I was blogging on the Beach Body site but decided to start a more public blog of my quest with P90X.  My goal for this round is to lose weight primarily; anything in addition will be a bonus.

Three years ago, I gave birth to my youngest son by cesarean. I had tried working out about 6 months after healing from that but felt some discomfort so I quit. After watching the P90X infomercial over and over each time I caught it on tv, I decided I wanted to give fitness another try. After all, I was getting entirely too big and still looking like I was pregnant. My dad always picks at me about the doctor forgetting another baby in my belly. I hate this.

So, after speaking with numerous P90X’ers who have had cesareans and are doing well with the program, I am a lot more comfortable now about working out. No more fear of hurting myself as long as I listen to my body and don’t attempt more than I can handle.

I should add that I have been cigarette free since January 25, 2010.  I had my last cigarette when I received my first personal vaporizer, aka electronic cigarette. After about a month and a half of vaping, I decided I didn’t want nicotine anymore after weening myself down to a very low level. It was then, after my last vape, I decided it was time to do something more for me.

Now, on with my quest for a slimmer me. Join and follow my progress.
